This platform bed frame eliminates the need for box spring or foundation or a metal frame because it is an all in one bed slat system. Place your new mattress directly on the heavy duty frame and experience all night back support. It has center support slats which provide adjustable lumbar support to increase to a firm or plush feel in the lumbar area. It is a responsive spring-like feel. The durable black metal frame provides strength and durability supporting 1200lbs static weight and up to 300lbs of dynamic weight. The outer legs are screwed on so if you prefer to use them as slats, you can remove the outer legs. These legs are 12" high so there plenty of room under and its normal height with a mattress.
